Much the same can be said about this book as about the Documentation Reports. It provides a detailed description and analysis of the 'Schnitger' organ project that is at the heart of much of the GoArt Centre's work. There is a CD with detailed material, as well as a lavish book with drawings, tables, photographs and text charting the development, rationale and completion of this exciting instrument that is doing so much to enhance our knowledge of the north German Baroque organ tradition. The Centre and the publishing team are to be congratulated on this publication. It again sets a standard for organological research and writing and will be of especial interest to organ builders and research students.
