This seems to be a month for transcriptions, judging by the reviews in this section. Alan Smith provides two neat arrangements – of the Sarabande from Handel's Suite no 4 in D minor and the Romanze from Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik. The pieces translate well to the organ, and provide useful additions to the (pre-) service music repertoire and the occasional short interlude in recital work. The level of difficulty is pre-ARCO standard.
