This is a comprehensive and well written and illustrated short history of the 1766 Thomas Parker organ, as described elsewhere in this issue of the magazine. This is a fascinating story, and all involved in the project are to be congratulated for their part in ensuring that this fine instrument has been restored to its original glory.
